Rooftops over the bay, riverside pubs, shophouse cocktail dens and four proper clubs, with closing times checked so you know how long the night can run. Trains wind down around midnight and street drinking is banned from 22:30, so plan a ride home.

The bar on the 'boat' on top of the hotel, 57 floors up. The view is the entire point, and it delivers.
💡 There is a cover charge in the evening that includes a drink. Dress smart; no flip-flops. Go at sunset, stay for the lights.
3. LAVO Italian Restaurant & Rooftop Bar

Italian-American food and a terrace on top of Marina Bay Sands. Weekends get loud well before dessert.
💡 Drinks stop at 23:30 on weeknights and 01:00 on Friday and Saturday, so start here and move on.
4. Lantern

A hotel rooftop by the pool where Marina Bay Sands is the view rather than the venue. Calm, polished, quietly expensive.
💡 Last drink orders are 00:15 Sun–Thu and 01:15 Fri–Sat. It is open-air, so have a rain plan in October.
5. Zouk Singapore

The longest-running name in local clubbing, now in Clarke Quay with two more rooms, Capital and Phuture, under the same roof.

6. YANG Club

Right beside Zouk in Clarke Quay, with a darker room and a slightly older crowd. Handy when Zouk is shut.
💡 Open Wednesday to Saturday from 22:00. Thursday is its night, since the neighbours are closed.
7. Level Up

A Clarke Quay bar full of arcade machines that turns into a party as the night goes on. Nobody has to be cool here.
💡 Open every night, till 03:00 on Friday and Saturday. Good first stop for a group that has only just met.
8. Molly Malone's Irish Pub

9. Southbridge

A small rooftop five floors above Boat Quay with oysters, fizz and a skyline that wraps most of the way around you.
💡 The entrance is on South Bridge Road beside Elgin Bridge, not on the riverfront. Closes at midnight sharp.
10. Headquarters

A small, dark room up a shophouse staircase with a loyal crowd and no interest in bottle service.
💡 Open Wednesday to Saturday from 22:30. The door is easy to miss between the riverfront restaurants.
11. BQ Bar

An easygoing riverfront bar on the Boat Quay strip. No dress code to decode, no concept to explain, just a drink by the water.
💡 Open every day and past midnight every night: 01:00 Mon, Tue and Thu, 02:00 the rest. A short walk from Raffles Place.
12. Le Bon Funk

A shophouse wine bar where the list leans natural and the plates are small. Good for a night that involves sitting down.

13. The Guild

A roomy corner bar with craft beer on tap and food that takes soaking it up seriously. Easy to walk into with a crowd.
💡 Closed Monday and Tuesday, so save it for Wed 7 Oct onwards. Walk-ins are fine; book for four or more.
14. ATLAS

A huge 1920s-style hall with a three-storey tower of gin. It looks like a film set and people behave accordingly.

15. Jigger & Pony

Walk into a cafe, push through the curtain, find a bar stocked with hundreds of agave and rice spirits. Mezcal fans, this is home.
💡 Closed Monday and Tuesday. Happy hour runs 17:00–20:00, and it shuts at midnight, so make it an early stop.
