1. Bayfront MRT Station

Your front door for the week. Circle and Downtown lines both stop here, and you never have to meet the weather.
💡 Exits C and D open into The Shoppes; D and E are signed for Sands Expo. Old maps still call this stop CE1; it is CC34 now.
2. Marina Bay MRT Station

Shares a name with the hotel but not a lobby. It is where the North South and Thomson-East Coast lines meet the Circle Line.
💡 Do not walk it in a blazer. Switch to the Circle Line here and ride one stop to Bayfront (CC34).
3. Downtown MRT Station

The Downtown Line stop for the financial-centre towers, and the calmer way in when Bayfront platforms look like a mosh pit.
💡 Bayfront is the next stop on the Downtown Line. Staying in the CBD? Board here and skip the taxi queue entirely.
4. Guardian, The Shoppes at Marina Bay Sands

Plasters, lozenges, electrolytes and everything else three days of handshakes will demand. It is inside the mall, basement 2.
💡 Stock up on day one. Throat lozenges become a currency by the second afternoon.
5. Guardian, Raffles City

A full-size Guardian with in-store specialists, two train stops from the bay and far less frantic than the one at the venue.
💡 Some medicines are only sold when the pharmacist is on duty, so do not leave it until just before closing.
6. Watsons, Raffles City

Forgot deodorant, sunscreen or a toothbrush? This is the fix, on the same basement floor as Guardian. Pick your fighter.
💡 Humidity wins every time. Grab blotting paper and a travel-size deodorant before your next panel.
7. The Arcade money changers

An old-school office arcade where half a dozen licensed changers sit side by side. Bankers queue here, which says plenty.
💡 Check two or three boards before you commit, bring your passport, and go on a weekday in office hours.
8. People's Park Complex money changers

A big yellow 1970s block with a cluster of changers on the ground floor. Chaotic, cheerful and three Downtown Line stops away.
💡 Pair the errand with dinner in Chinatown. Count your notes at the counter before you walk off.
9. Mustafa Centre

Gold, luggage, spices, phone chargers and 40 kinds of biscuit, at 3am. You will go in for an adapter and leave with a suitcase.
💡 Go late at night when the aisles are calmer. Forgotten cables, SIM kits and gifts for home are all here.
10. Changi Recommends, Terminal 1 Arrival Hall

The counter that gets you online before the taxi queue. Prepaid SIMs, travel eSIMs and pocket WiFi, whenever you land.
💡 Other terminals have counters too, though one in Terminal 2 keeps daytime hours. Have your passport ready for the SIM.
11. Taj Electronics, Peninsula Shopping Centre

Skipped the airport counter? This small phone shop is on Singtel's own list of prepaid retailers, a short hop from the bay.
💡 Bring your passport, because prepaid SIMs must be registered. The mall is full of phone shops for cables too.
12. WeWork 21 Collyer Quay

When hotel WiFi gives up, buy a desk for the day. Proper chairs, phone booths, and coffee that is not from a sachet.
💡 Day passes are sold through WeWork's site, building by building. Book ahead, as this week will be busy.
13. The Work Project, Asia Square

Hotel-lobby looks with office-grade WiFi. A calm base on the Marina Bay side when you need four straight hours of real work.
💡 Pre-booking online is recommended. Walk-ins are taken only when there is space, which is unlikely this week.
14. WeWork Suntec Tower 5

On the far side of the bay from the crowds, with sheltered links to the MRT and a mall full of lunch options downstairs.
💡 Promenade is one stop from Bayfront on either line, so you can slip back for an afternoon session.
15. Changi Airport T3 Baggage Storage

Step one of any layover: lose the luggage. The public counter sits on Level 1, near the train to the city.
💡 Clear immigration first, then drop bags. With under 5.5 hours between flights, stay at Jewel instead.
16. Raffles Medical, Marina Bay Link Mall

A GP clinic in the underground mall beneath the financial-centre towers, for when the conference cough turns up.
💡 It moves here from MBFC Tower 3 on 5 Oct 2026. The old site ran weekday office hours only, so call ahead.
17. Raffles24 Acute & Critical Care, Raffles Hospital

The private hospital's round-the-clock clinic, two Downtown Line stops from Bayfront. Good to know, better never to need.
💡 For an emergency ambulance call 995. Police are on 999. Bring your passport and travel-insurance details.
18. Apple Marina Bay Sands

Cracked screen, dead battery, drowned AirPods. Help is a short walk from the expo halls, in a store that floats on water.
💡 Book a Genius Bar slot online first. Walk-in waits during a conference week are not for the faint-hearted.
19. National Library Building

A public library in the basement, a reference library upstairs and a ground-floor plaza with a cafe. Free, calm, zero pitching.
💡 Take the call in the open-air plaza, not among the shelves. Librarians here outrank every keynote speaker.
20. The Courtyard at The Fullerton Hotel

The lounge at the heart of the old General Post Office building. Soft chairs, tall ceilings and room to hear yourself think.
💡 Order a coffee and claim a corner for a one-to-one. Afternoon tea runs in set seatings, so book if that is the plan.
